Carolina Gimeno
Being part of the third generation of a family of jewellers, my experience on jewelry making started at a very young age. Since 2002 in Barcelona I have been studying diverse areas of the craft and art of making jewelry. The permanent contact through the years with the world of contemporary european jewelry has influenced my way to understand the new jewellery as a manifestation of the arts and not only as a mere ornamental object. In 2010 I finished the Degree in Artistic Jewelry at Massana School and finished the BA in Arts, both with honors, at UPLA University, Chile. I currently live and work in Barcelona, from where I am producing and exhibiting my work through Europe and America.
