Julie Impens
Julie Impens is a French Jewellery Designer who always felt deeply connected to the country in which she grew up.
She focuses her interest on the history of France and its very unique notion of luxury and elegance.
Inspiration for her work comes from her muse: the Queen Marie Antoinette d’Autiche but also the epoch she lived in. Her designs reflect on the Rococo era, the splendour of the court of Versailles and the beauty of the eighteenth century garments and detailed laces.
Her collection is a way to honour her French heritage. She intends it to refer to the nostalgia of a time of great leisure ande grace and which had a great cultural impact, a time when France shined all over the world and established itself as a cultural exemplar.
