MICHELLE LENAE
About
I began crafting jewelry back in 2001, and earned a bachelors in Metals and Jewelry fabrication from the University of Washington, in 2003. Since that time I have continued to explore different techniques and ideas, pushing my skills as a gold and silver smith and increasingly growing as a designer.
I work with a local lapidary artist who cuts most of my gems, applying either my signature Dahlia or pavilion facets in addition to the more well known rose-cut and checkerboard faceting.
Every piece of jewelry is individually hand crafted by me and all gems are handset in my home studio. I recycle all of the gold used in my studio and purchase harmony metals which are 100% recycled. All gemstones used are ethically mined.
