About
The creator of Concrete Polish is an artist, jewelry designer and maker. She started her line of jewelry in 2009 after finishing her certification as a bench jeweler. Falling in love with wax and casting techniques she was able to see a future for fashion and jewelry design. After leaving the Maryland Institute College of Art she moved to Philadelphia to continue her quest as a designer.
She is currently working on building her new showroom in Philadelphia called Concrete Polish. Besides having a place to view her line she will have monthly events opening the doors to the art loving public. The first Friday of every month will be a new collection of designers from all over the country, an installation of handmade art.
Angela’s signature pieces include elements of nature, like crystals, animals, and botanical forms. Her latest line of jewelry titled Mineral Massacre, is inspired by actual raw crystal growth, creating a rough & refined line with a feminine touch. She uses all reclaimed precious metals and genuine gemstones paying close attention to being a low-impact and environmentally conscious business. Her stylized designs are individually hand-crafted and not produced overseas.
